      Nirukta (“the science of etymology”), a commentary on Nighantu, is a Vedanga “auxiliary treatise for the study of the Veda” which primarily deals with the analysis of words – other auxiliaries according to Paniniya Shiksha are shiksha, kalp, vyakaran, chand, and text forms the intermediate link between the non-Vedic and Vedic literature []. the Nirukta. -some phonetic changes can be explained as acoustic sound change.
