Gorgon Child is quite possibly the first Action / Sci-fi I ever read with a black man as the hero and I'll admit that may have factored into my love of the character I could relate so well to. But This book is easily in my top 20 books of all time/5. Gorgon Child was the even better followup to Streetlethal, taking the excellent characters from the first novel to new places and new heights, ratcheting up the excellent action sequences even further.

The writing quality for these books is not as good as my high school self remembered from two decades ago, but the story is earnest and engaging/5(5).
